Introduced to Hawai`i in 1917 by Queen Lili`uokalani and a school teacher from Kamehameha School for Girls, Florence Lowe.  The Girl Scouts have enabled thousands of girls to discover fun, friendship and power of girls together.   As the preeminent all-girl organization, Girl Scouts provides opportunities for girls to discover their personal best and prepare for a positive future, connect with others in an increasingly diverse world, and take action to solve problems and improve their communities. With more than 5,500 members on all major islands, the Girl Scouts of Hawaii empowers girls to fine the courage, confidence, and character to make the world a better place.

It's A Hit!

Announcing the 2008 Girl Scout Cookie Hall of Fame and 2008 Priceless Award winners! More than 60 Girl Scouts statewide have achieved their goal of selling 1,000+ (Hall of Fame) and 700+ (Priceless) boxes of Girl Scout Cookies during the 2008 Girl Scout Cookie Season. As part of this year’s Priceless event on May 17, 2008, Diamond Head Theatre is sponsoring a very special event!

A big congratulations to all of Hawai`i’s Girl Scouts who achieved their individual and troop cookie goals, and mahalo to all of our volunteers for your hard work in making the 2008 Girl Scout Cookie Season a “hit”.
