Hawaii Girl Scouts Need Support

Cost to support each girl member in Hawaii is $240 per year. Current revenue sources provide:

    Annual Cookie Sale $110
    United Way $45
    Program Fees $29
    Foundations $12
    Fundraisers $7
    Shop sales $12

so, even with all these revenue sources, we still need an average of $25 to support each of our girls in Girl Scouting.

An investment in Girl Scouting is an investment in a girl's future, in the future of our community, and in the future of our country.

The Value of Girl Scouting

  • Safe, affordable, and challenging programs statewide.
  • Volunteer leaders who are screened, trained, and abide by the Girl Scout Council Code of Conduct.
  • Fun, friendships, and monitored activities with positive influences.
  • Financial Assistance for individual Girl Scouts in need.
  • Programs designed and proven to stimulate older girls' interests in math, science, sports, career exploration, leadership development, and community service.

Besides financial support, there are other ways people can help. For example, you could donate services, supplies, airline mileage, or meeting space. Or you could donate something even more important - your time! Consider becoming an adult volunteer and serving as a leader or mentor. Call (808) 595-8400.
