Training Delivery Options and Registration Procedures

The Council currently has two (2) different training delivery options available for the following trainings.

  • Girl Scout Basics
  • Age-Level Training (Daisy, Brownie, Junior, and Cadette/Senior)
  • Group Travel

The following trainings are currently only offered in a "face to face" delivery.

  • Orientation for Girl Scout Volunteers
  • Out and About - Beyond the Group Meeting
  • Camping Hawaiian Style (In-town and At-camp portions)

Descriptions of Delivery Options

  • Home-Study:  Home-Study trainings are designed to be done as an "independent study".  You do not need to pr-register for this training.  However, at the completion of the Home-Study you must complete an examination with a passing score of 85% or better and an evaluation form.  Both of these forms must be received and reviewed by the Council to receive credit for any Home-Study training.  After successful completion, a certificate of completion will be sent to you for your records.

  • Face to Face:   Each "face to face" training takes approximately four (4) hours.  It is conducted by a Council volunteer trainer at the Council's Oahu office location.
