Upcoming Girl Activity

Juniors: Women in Aviation

Discover the world of flight through hands-on activities at the Pacific Aviation Museum on Ford Island. Partnering up with "The Ninety Nines," an aviation organization for women that dates back to Amelia Earhart, girls will build and fly their own model glider, pilot a simulated flight to another island, see aircrafts that flew in WWII, and taste the dehydrated food astronauts eat in space. Participants will also learn about different careers in aviation and meet women who work in the field.
