What if every girl…

...had the courage to stand up for what she believed in?

...had the confidence to discover and be who she really is?

...was a leader in her life, her family, her community, her world?

What if every girl had the chance to make a difference?

That is our mission at Girl Scouts of Hawai'i.

Girl Members

Girl Scouts welcomes all girls regardless of race, color, ethnicity, creed, national origin, religious affiliation, physical ability, or socioeconomic status.

  • Girl Scouts is open to all girls between the ages of 5 and 17 and men and women over the age of 18.
  • All members must make the Girl Scout Promise and accept the Girl Scout Law.
  • Members pay annual membership dues of $12 (financial assistance is available).

If you don't have time to be in a troop or there isn’t a troop that works for you , consider becoming a Juliette. Juliettes are Girl Scouts who are not affiliated with a specific troop , but who are able to discover, connect and take action at their own pace. As a Juliette, you may choose from programs, events and activities available to all Girl Scouts in Hawai'i and across the nation!

Adult Members

The growth and continued success of the Girl Scout program depends upon the active support of caring adults. Adult members may be women or men, 18 years of age or older. Our adult members are voluteers that we depend upon to keep Girl Scout programs going!

For more information about the many ways you can help support Hawai'i's girls, go to the Voluteer page of this site.

Making a Difference

A New Beginning...

In 2006, Girl Scouts of Hawai'i began a program for girls whose mothers are incarcerated - Ho‘omaka Hou (a new beginning), based up a national Girl Scout model - Girl Scouts Beyond Bars.

For more information on this and other programs that make a difference, go the Girl Scouts of Hawai'i Programs page.
